Pre-Production
Frankie and I worked together to come up with a few scripts for our stand ups. We conjured up three different scripts: one for homecoming, one for Blake’s newest rowing team and one about the TV/Film department getting lots of new equipment this school year.
We decided which locations would be best to shoot each stand up and what attire and props we would need to spice things up. The purpose of these stand ups were to get us ready for FSPA and to give us practice dealing with our three new mic kits.

Things didn’t go as smoothly or as quickly as planned for getting the stand ups done. We were having difficulty with the mic kits and sound. But we pulled through!
I’m glad to say our stand ups look professional and sound really good with our new means of audio. Even though I like to spend most of my time behind the camera, this was a good experience.

Editing up my stand up reel was an easy task. All I had to do was mark them in and out and throw them on the timeline.
I discovered that I was having playback issues a little later on, but it will be an easy fix. Also the lower thirds look really nice! I’m excited to use them.
